AVA is delighted to introduce our new three-year programme of work towards building safe housing pathways for women facing gender based violence and homelessness in London.
Thanks to funding from Trust for London, AVA will recruit, train and support women with lived experience to work alongside London boroughs who are committed to improving their housing and homelessness offer for women survivors of gender-based violence.
AVA’s team will support boroughs to overcome challenges and provide safer and more effective housing and homelessness support for women. We will support boroughs to meet their duties under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and the expectations of the Mayor’s VAWG Strategy for London 2022-25.
