We’re looking for web & app developers to refresh our award-winning Prevention Platform. The Prevention Platform was created to support education practitioners across the UK to develop and deliver a comprehensive programme to stop Violence Against Women and Girls. It aims to be a unique ‘one-stop shop’ for information, tools and resources to help prevent VAWG among young people. It is based on the specialist knowledge and experiences of teachers, youth workers, service providers and local authority leads from across the country. The platform and accompanying research was funded by Comic Relief and we are very grateful to them for their continued support. The current site can be accessed here.
The Prevention Platform was originally launched in 2015 and although this was only a few years ago, technology moves quickly and we would like to update it to be more accessible. One of the ways in which we would like to achieve this is through creating an app version of the Prevention Platform which is accessible both online and offline.
The deadline for submitting proposals is the 28th April and these should be sent by email for the attention of Eva Kestner to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please find more detailed information about this opportunity here.
