AVA is looking to contract a freelance monitoring and evaluation consultant to independently evaluate the impact of trauma informed support for five pilot organisations in England.
In addition we require the MEL consultant to support AVA developing a business case/cost effectiveness argument for Trauma Informed work more generally and evaluate the impact of partnership working.
AVA (Against Violence and Abuse) is a feminist charity committed to a world without gender based violence and abuse. Our mission is to ‘Inspire innovation and collaboration and encourage and enable direct service providers to help end violence against women and girls.’ We are an expert, independent and groundbreaking national charity particularly recognized for our specialist expertise in multiple disadvantage and children and young people’s work. Our core work includes training, policy, research and consultancy.
About the project
AVA has been funded by the Department for Culture Media and Sport to work with Experts by Experience (EBE) peer researchers and a team of specialist partners to create a trauma informed Kite Mark for specialist Women and Girls services. These new processes, tools and training will represent the needs of survivors, and aims to ensure they get a specialist trauma informed response from all services.
