Starting in 2021 GODIVA, the global leader in premium chocolate, will award a select group of organisations around the globe that are working to empower women.
Organisations are being recognised and rewarded by GODIVA, through Lady GODIVA Initiative award, for their work to both empower women and positively impact their local communities. Their efforts are in keeping with GODIVA’s mission to open people’s eyes to a more wonderful world in the hope of crafting a better tomorrow.
In the first round announced in November 2021, GODIVA, is giving individual awards to NGOs and non-profits based in five of GODIVA’s global markets – US, Canada, UK, Belgium, and China.
The 2021 recipients include Hot Bread Kitchen (US), Up With Women (Canada), #SheDIDIT (Belgium), China Women’s Development Foundation (China), and AVA: Against Violence and Abuse (UK).
