Online Blended Learning
Supporting people to increase their knowledge about gender-based violence and many topics related to violence and abuse has always been a core part of what we do at AVA. This has not changed, even during this time of social distancing and isolation.
We are still here and we are working hard to move all our training online in a way that makes it accessible to everyone, (no matter where in the world you are!) but also maintains the high quality of learning that we are known for.
We are happy to announce you can now book for our new online blended training courses. This new way of learning involves a combination of self guided learning and a 3 hour interactive, online training seminar. It offers the best of both worlds – it’s accessible from the comfort of your own home but also allows you to interact with a trainer and other learners to discuss more complex topics. As part of our commitment to quality, we are working to have all our new online blended courses CPD accredited.
We have launched the open online blended training schedule. Each session will have 15 learners, and all will be hosted on Zoom. We have our normal tiered pricing policy and price are between £50-£70 per course.
7th May – Domestic Violence Awareness
22nd & 25th June – Trauma Informed Practice: A Course for Frontline Workers
7th & 9th July – Becoming Trauma Informed: A Course for Managers
10th September – Children Under 10 and Domestic Violence
We can also run in-house online sessions of these courses for your staff team. We have similarly adjusted our prices, keeping our tiered system to ensure we are afforable for all kinds of organisations. We are also happy to discuss converting any other of our training courses online/ or bespoke options.

Our courses cost £15 each per person or two courses for £25.
We also offer organisational discounts for multiple learner accounts. We are happy to host or create bespoke courses on request.

Webinars
We are also running webinar series which are short sessions with a guest speaker who is a specialist in their field and a chance to ask questions about a specific topic. These will be around an hour, cost £15 and be advertised on our events page.
