The work of AVA has complemented and consolidated the ongoing control strategy around Domestic Abuse within the Naval Service. The train the trainer sessions have ignited further interest in the subject across the Royal Navy Police (RNP), making DA a priority within regions and across the Force. This has had a significant impact on the information received from the Naval community and in turn the number of positive investigations into DA.
