The Mapping the maze site has been launched alongside a new report aiming to map service provision specifically for women facing homelessness, substance misuse, poor mental health, offending, and complex needs generally in England and Wales.
The website provides an interactive map of all the services across the country and provides an easy to use Model of good practice. The website also provides a range of resources that aim to respond to all aspects of supporting women with lived experience of multiple disadvantage.
The research found that there is not enough help across the board for women in England and Wales. Support is extremely patchy – with some areas having a range of services for women, while others have very few or no services at all.
The project is a collaboration between AVA (Against Violence and Abuse) and Agenda, and was funded by the Barrow Cadbury Trust, an independent charitable foundation committed to bringing about socially just change.
