AVA is a feminist, anti-racist organisation and we work every day to break the bias. Our projects give voice to amazing women overcoming impossible odds-defying bias and expectations, to bring passion and commitment to making the world better for their sisters.
Our Staying Mum project is just one example. At its heart are women, who despite the overwhelming devastation of having their children removed, are committed to using their experience to change things for future generations of women and children. The survivors we are honoured to work alongside are supported by a brilliant team of staff and trustees committed to ending violence against women and girls.
Never more than ever has the world needed vision, systems, and values that break with stale, pale, and male domination of past centuries. Only by breaking the bias can we heal the world.
