Objectives
- Comprehend the Purpose of EIAs: Explain the purpose and benefits of Equality Impact Assessments in promoting inclusion and addressing disparities.
- Develop EIA Skills: Develop practical skills for conducting thorough Equality Impact Assessments, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Apply EIAs to VAWG Context: Explore and apply the principles of EIAs to the unique challenges and dynamics of the VAWG sector.
- Evaluate and Monitor Impact: Develop mechanisms for ongoing evaluation and monitoring of the impact of EIAs on promoting inclusion and equality within the VAWG sector.
Format
This course is delivered online using Zoom. The training session is tutor led and will last for three hours with a 15 minute break. The training session will involve tutor presentation, question and answer opportunities and group work activities.
