We will cover an understanding of pre-trial therapy, how to ensure that we as therapists protect and empower our clients within the confines of the criminal justice system and give space to address our own feelings relating to pre-trial therapy.
An interactive, practical day on child to parent abuse. When we use the term parent, we refer to biological and non-biological, including carers. The training is designed to raise awareness of the topic and provide participants with an opportunity to explore the dynamics of child to parent abuse, including as a profile of domestic abuse. Information will be provided on definitions, background theories, prevalence, risk factors, case studies, behaviour patterns and provide examples of current intervention models and best practice as shared by Peer Researchers who worked with us on our Hear ME adult child to parent abuse research project.
