Disability Research on Independent Living and Learning (DRILL)
Do you have experience of supporting disabled survivors of domestic violence? If so we are very interested in hearing from you.
AVA, Vision Sense, and Lancaster University Centre for Disability Research have partnered to conduct research into responses to disabled women and girls who have experienced domestic violence.
We are asking front line social worker, social care and housing providers with experience in supporting survivors of domestic violence to fill in this survey-
It should take between 10-30 minutes of your time, and is an amazing opportunity to transform the response to some of the most chronically disadvantaged women and girls experiencing domestic violence. We would very much appreciate your support in doing so.
As part of the DRILL reserach project, we are also hosting a free one day conference here at Lancaster University on Monday 9th July to disseminate our research findings, the experiences of barriers to supporting disabled women and share good practice and provide an opportunity to connect with others working with disabled and Deaf women to develop networks to better support disabled women and girls after violence.
