The focus of this resource hub is on supporting yourself when supporting others.
Covid-19 has led to increasing pressures on the domestic abuse sector, and those who work in it. Staff are likely to have felt burnt out and dealt with additional stress over the last few months.
This means looking after yourself is more important than ever. This is especially true if you are a survivor yourself.
To support you, we have created this resource hub with information, toolkits, guidance and advice around supporting survivors during Covid-19, and managing your own wellbeing at the same time.
Navigating the hub:
This hub is split into three sections.
- Supporting Survivors Through Covid-19 provides various resources for best supporting your clients during Covid-19 and signposting them on to specialised support.
- Supporting Yourself Through Covid-19 provides resources, toolkits and videos around managing secondary trauma, supporting yourself and self-care.
- Supporting Each other provides a space for you to share links, tips and advice around self-care and wellbeing.
