Combat Misconduct: Resource Hub and a report on Student Experiences of Sexual Misconduct at UK universities launch

We’re delighted to share the final outcomes of the Combat Misconduct project. Since 2019, we have been working in partnership with Universities UK and the NUS to improve responses to sexual violence, harassment, and misconduct across the higher education sector.

During Sexual Violence and Abuse Awareness Week 2022, we are launching the last two products, an online Resource Hub and a report on the Student Experiences of Sexual Misconduct at UK universities. More information is below.

Combat Misconduct is funded by Rosa’s Justice and Equality Fund.

Online Resource Hub

Is an online tool developed by AVA in partnership with Universities UK and the NUS. The Resource Hub incorporates the expertise of university students and staff on how to respond to sexual misconduct. It features two sections, ‘for students’ and ‘for staff’, each providing a wide range of resources, tools, and guides, covering topics from awareness, prevention, support, investigation, and campaigning.

Student Experiences of Sexual Misconduct at UK Universities

This report was developed in partnership with the NUS. It highlights the findings from AVA’s research into the nature and impact of sexual misconduct at university, and students’ experiences of disclosing, formally reporting, and accessing support.

The report makes recommendations informed by university staff and students to improve university prevention efforts and responses to sexual misconduct.
