What happens once I have submitted my booking?
We will send you a confirmation email and joining instructions within 10 working days of receiving your booking. Please contact us if you do not receive this. If you requested to be invoiced in your booking form, you will receive your invoice for your training course a fortnight before the event.
What happens if I need to cancel my place?
If at any point after being sent your confirmation email for an AVA training course or event, you wish to withdraw your place, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellation one month, or more, prior to the training date – no charge/full refund
Cancellation two weeks prior to the training date – 50% charge/50% refund
Cancellation within two weeks prior to the training date – full charge/no refund
Transferring your place:
- You may give your place to another delegate as long as we are notified of the name change along with contact details at least one week before the training/event date.
- You may transfer your place onto a different course/event as long as we receive more than two weeks notice.
- If you have attended part of a course/event, you may transfer your place to the next delivery of the same course and an administration fee will apply that covers any costs AVA incurred.
What happens if AVA cancels the training/event?
AVA reserves the right to cancel trainings/events. If we cancel a training course/event 14 or more days before the start date, regrettably we cannot refund any expenses incurred, e.g. travel tickets or accommodation costs. We will refund your course fee.
If we cancel less than 14 days before the start date, we will refund expenses incurred, e.g. travel tickets or accommodation costs. We will refund your course fee.
We thus recommend not making any travel or accommodation bookings more than 14 days before the start date of any training course/event.

Can I attend AVA training in order to replicate the training for my organisation or as a freelancer?
We are happy for delegates to cascade AVA training materials and learning internally within their own organisations and to colleagues. But the materials cannot be changed and have to retain AVA branding.
AVA training and training materials are copyrighted by AVA and should not be replicated without our permission or you may be in breach of copyright law. We are, however, happy to work in partnership in order to increase the reach of our training. So, if you would like to work with us to bring our training to new audiences please contact us.
