AVA undertakes innovative and award winning work on prevention because Violence Against Women and Girls, although widespread, is not inevitable.
Current and recent prevention work includes
- Our award winning Ask AVA website which helps schools and other youth settings develop a comprehensive approach to preventing gender based violence.
- Working with GirlGuiding UK on the Change the Story project, which looked at the experience of girls and young women living in the UK today and asked them to consider their world and relationships.
